A Carpenter Technology maintenance employee was working on a piece of machinery outside one of the company’s production buildings in Reading, Pennsylvania around 11:20 a.m. when he suffered a serious injury to one of his legs, according to a Carpenter spokesman. Materion Corp. contributes to Fed-OSHA’s proposal to reduce beryllium exposure

Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based Materion Corp. had a part to play in Fed-OSHA’s recently released proposal to lower workplace exposure to beryllium.
