Denver-area worker fatally struck at wood shop

A 54-year-old worker died last week at a manufacturer of doors and wood plank flooring north of Denver. The man reportedly was struck in the chest by a piece of wood thrown from a machine at facility Tuesday afternoon and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Denver Post

Elevator corporation fined more than $142K in April fatality

Contractor rescued from mud at Long Island worksite
